Replacement Pitch Bid
Kirkby Stephen Community Sports Association is is organisation that owns the current artificial pitch and is running the campaign for the replacement pitch.
After 22 years a replacement pitch at Kirkby Stephen is needing to be funded at cost of £200,000. We already have £35,000 secured and have £120,000+ pending. We also need help from community funding so we are giving people the chance to 'BUY A PITCH SQUARE'
Each square is £10, and of course you can have as many you like. Once purchased your square will be marked as sold and your name will be placed on our enlarged up to date pitch map, which will be located in Kirkby Stephen Sports Hall. There will also be a digital version which can be found on our Facebook page @kirkbyscsa where you can track our progress. The pitch has a customer base of over 800 people from all over the Eden Valley as well as being used daily by Kirkby Stephen Grammar School so any money you can give to this cause is very much appreciated.

We have recently found out that the Garfield Weston Anniversary Fund has awarded Kirkby Stephen Community Sports Association £150k towards replacing the pitch and lights. We now have two thirds of the monies needed to complete the whole project. Hopefully the pitch will be replaced spring/ summer 2019.
We do still have a way to go to get the full project finished but this is a great help and we can say that a new pitch is a very realistic goal now! Thank you to everyone who has helped so far, lets keep the momentum going and we will soon hit our target.
